Exodus
14, 15
The king of Egypt was cruel and made
God's people his slaves.
God chose Moses to free his
people.
Moses led God's people to the Red
Sea.
The king of Egypt and his soldiers
chased after them.
God's people could not cross the sea;
it was much too deep and much too wide. So
God told Moses to hold his rod up to the sea,
and God made the waters to divide to
make a dry path through the sea. His people walked safely to the
other side. When the king and his soldiers tried to follow, the
water fell back down on top of them. God's people praised Him for
rescuing them.
